50-year career -- Howard Community College will celebrate the almost 50-year artistic career of Albert Sangiamo, teacher of many artists and art teachers who attended Maryland Institute College of Art. Albert Sangiamo: A Retrospective, includes 88 images of people, cats, elephants and others. A reception is planned from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday; a gallery talk is scheduled for 7 p.m. The show, which is installed in the college's Rouse Company Foundation Gallery and Art Department Gallery in the Horowitz Center, runs through Oct. 7.
