Harvest Festival to be held tomorrow
Wesley Grove United Methodist Church, 1320 Dorsey Road, Hanover, will hold its 27th annual harvest festival and flea market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow.
The event will have food, crafts, vendors, baked goods, plants and produce.

Caring Ministry to be held tomorrow
Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, 400 Benfield Road in Severna Park, will host its Stephen Series Caring Ministry from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow.
The series will include an introduction to the Stephen series, ministering to those experiencing grief, and how to care in a distinctively Christian way.
The cost is $15 per person or $50 for a group of four.

'Kindersport' reading planned
Colonial Players will present a dramatic reading of Kindersport, the story of a Jewish child sent to England during the Holocaust at 2 p.m. Sunday at Congregation Kol Ami, 1909 Hidden Meadow Lane, Annapolis.
A question-and-answer session will follow.

Busch Gardens trip set for Oct. 27
Glen Lutheran Church, 106 Carroll Road in Glen Burnie, will host the "Howl-O-Scream" bus trip to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia leaving from the parking lot at 8 a.m. Oct. 27 and return at midnight.
Cost is $85 for everyone older than 10 and $76 for children ages 3 to 9.

Glen Lutheran plans dinner, movie
Glen Lutheran Church, 106 Carroll Road in Glen Burnie, will hold a dinner with movie at 6 p.m. Sept. 21.
The movie Fly Away Home will be shown at 7:15 p.m. Participants should take blankets and lawn chairs. Food concessions will be available.
The dinner menu includes spaghetti, Italian bread, salad, dessert and a beverage.
The cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children 5 and up and free for children 4 and under. Carryout is available.

Churches to present ex-slaves stories
Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Eastport and Unitarian Universalist Church will present "As I Can Remember" at 4 p.m. Sept. 30 at 333 Dubois Road, Annapolis.
The program will present the stories of five elderly women and their pastor, all former slaves.
Admission is $10 for adults and $6 for children, students and senior adults. Reservations are suggested.
