Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Arrest -- Two men were arrested Tuesday in a house in the 3300 block of Ramona Ave. by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force on warrants charging each man with first-degree murder and related offenses. Held without bail at Central Booking and Intake Center pending bail review hearings before a District Court commissioner were Brandon Green, 22, and Jerome Whitaker, 23, both of the 3300 block of Ramona Ave. Green and Whitaker are each charged with shooting Christopher Clarke, 19, of the 3000 block of Mayfield Ave. about 8 p.m. March 13 in the 3100 block of Cliftmont Ave.


Robbery try/arrest -- A man suspected of an attempted armed robbery at West North Avenue and Ashburton Street about noon yesterday was captured after he fired at least one shot at pursuing police. No officers were hit and none returned fire. During the pursuit, the man was seen throwing a .45-caliber handgun into a yard. The man was caught in the 2700 block of Presbury St. and the gun was recovered. Charges against the man were pending an investigation by district detectives.


Shootings -- Two men, one 19 and the other 21, were shot about 2 p.m. yesterday in the 4000 block of Franklin St. Both victims were taken by ambulances to St. Agnes Hospital, where one was treated for a gunshot wound to the chest and was in good condition. The other victim was shot in the upper left leg and groin and was in serious condition. No arrest had been made.


Shooting -- A man, 19, was sitting on the front porch of a house in the 600 block of McCabe Ave. about 11:45 p.m. Tuesday when an unknown man standing across the street shot him in the left leg. The victim fled to the 700 block of Glenwood Ave., where police found him after they followed a trail of blood. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital and was expected to survive. Police knew of no motive for the shooting.


Arrest -- Terrance Speas, 23, of the 2100 block of Edmondson Ave. was arrested yesterday morning in the 1700 block of N. Regester St. on a warrant charging him with robbing another man of a $500 money order in the 200 block of E. Lanvale St. on Sept. 6. Speas was being held at Central Booking and Intake Center.


Robbery -- Police were seeking two men who attacked a man, 26, as he walked in the 100 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday and robbed him of his wallet containing $200. During the robbery, both suspects struck the man in the face with their fists, causing minor injuries.

Burglary -- A 2006 4-wheel all-terrain vehicle was stolen between Monday night and Tuesday morning from a garage in the 5700 block of Allender Road.


Armed robbery -- Two men, one armed with a knife, robbed a man, 26, of a cell phone and his wallet containing $300 while he walked along Reisterstown Road near Colonial Road about 1 a.m. Tuesday.


Burglary -- Electrical cable valued at nearly $800 was stolen Monday morning from a storage area of Windsor Electric in the 10200 block of S. Dolfield Road by someone who entered the property through a rear fence.
