Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Robbery -- A man, 43, was getting out of his mother's Ford Escort in the 200 block of Robert St. about midnight Sunday when he was knocked down by a man who robbed him of his wallet containing $200. The assailant took the vehicle's keys and drove off with a woman. The vehicle has tags LLL 179.


Shooting -- An unidentified man was shot in the buttocks about 6 p.m. yesterday while in the 1900 block of N. Ellamont St., and was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. His condition was not available.


Assault -- A warrant was to have been issued for the arrest of a man, 43, charging him with aggravated assault in the cutting Sunday afternoon of his former girlfriend, 39, in her home in the 5500 block of Harford Road. The couple was arguing about 4 p.m. when the man cut the woman on the left breast with a box cutter, police said. The woman was reported in good condition at Good Samaritan Hospital.


Theft -- A global positioning system and a camera were stolen Sunday from a 2000 Chevrolet van in the 2800 block of Jefferson St. The property was valued at nearly $1,000.

Theft -- Someone broke into a 2000 Ford Excursion in the first block of N. Belnord Ave. on Sunday and removed a global positioning system valued at $500.

Baltimore County

North Point

Vandalism -- A 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche was parked in the first block of Lombardy Drive over the weekend when someone used an unknown metal object to scratch a side door and fender, causing $500 damage.


Burglary -- Five special-order windows were stolen Saturday or Sunday from a house under construction in the first block of Willow Ave.
