Quarter by quarterThe Ravens found themselves in an early hole thanks to three fumbles, two by quarterback Steve McNair. The Ravens dodged one bullet when kicker Shayne Graham's 53-yard field-goal attempt was short, but the Bengals converted the other two turnovers into a touchdown catch by Chad Johnson and a field goal by Graham.

Fumble returned for TD
The Ravens did themselves in again with another fumble. McNair's third turnover, which was returned by Bengals linebacker Landon Johnson 34 yards for a touchdown with 8:47 left, restored the Bengals' nine-point cushion. The Ravens' defense, meanwhile, snuffed out two Cincinnati possessions.
