Danley's verse lets her tell of her joy and pain

The Baltimore Sun

The petite woman with the probing brown eyes spreads her legs for balance and leans forward at the waist on the Everyman Theatre stage. One arm is flung out in front of her, the hand cupped, as though it held something precious but fluid, something that might slip from her grasp.

If you go Naked, Gayle Danley's one-woman show, runs at Everyman Theatre, 1727 N. Charles St., through Sept. 25. Showtimes: 7:30 p.m. Mondays-Tuesdays. Tickets $20. Call 410-752-2208 or go to everymantheatre.org.
