Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Burglary -- A 32-inch high-definition TV, a laptop computer, jewelry and two suitcases were stolen during the weekend from a house in the 4300 block of Elderon Ave. by someone who entered through a second-floor bathroom window.

Burglary -- Someone entered a house in the 3700 block of Marmon Ave. through a kitchen door during the weekend and stole several pieces of jewelry, all of unknown value.


Burglary -- A black-and-red 2006 ER-70 dirt bike was stolen Thursday from the basement of a house in the 2300 block of W. Lanvale St.

Burglary -- While a female resident of the 600 block of N. Pulaski St. was in her bedroom Wednesday afternoon, someone entered her home through a kitchen window and stole a radio valued at $40, six cans of salmon and an assortment of paper plates.

Assault -- Police were seeking a man who cut a woman on her hand during an argument in the woman's home in the 1900 block of Edmondson Ave. on Thursday afternoon. The woman was treated at the scene. A warrant charging the man with aggravated assault has been issued by a District Court commissioner. The man's name was being withheld pending his arrest.


Robbery/arrest -- A woman, 33, was walking in the 1100 block of Park Ave. about 5 p.m. Saturday when a man stole her purse. A short time later, police entered a vacant house in the 200 block of W. Lanvale St. and arrested the man. A 32-year-old man with no fixed address, whose name was not available, was charged with robbery.

Stolen vehicle -- A beige four-door 1998 Honda Accord with tags 8CA R30 was stolen between Friday and Saturday in the 100 block of E. Eager St.

Theft -- A Global Positioning System device valued at $850 was stolen Saturday from a 1999 Dodge Caravan parked in the 300 block of St. Paul St.

Stolen vehicle -- Police were seeking a gray 1989 Volvo station wagon with tags 6CZ N52 that was stolen Saturday in the 200 block of E. Biddle St.


Cutting -- A man and a woman, 40, were arguing in her home in the 1000 block of New Hope Circle about 12:30 a.m. Saturday when the man cut the woman on her hand with an unknown sharp object. No arrest had been made.

Theft -- Someone broke the passenger window of a vehicle parked in the 400 block of S. Ann St. about 7:30 p.m. Saturday and removed a Global Positioning System device valued at $600.

Baltimore County


Shooting -- A male in his 20s was shot in the face outside a house in the 1600 block of Kirkwood Road in the West Edmondale community shortly before 9 p.m. yesterday and was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was admitted in critical condition. Police were seeking two males seen running from the scene. Anyone with information is asked to call the precinct at 410-887-1340.


Robbery -- Police were seeking a man armed with a knife who robbed Paper Mill Dash-In market at a Shell service station in the 11200 block of York Road about 1:20 a.m. Friday and fled with snacks, a quantity of cigarettes and an undisclosed sum of money.

Robbery -- Three men, each armed with a handgun, robbed Lafavorita, a convenience store in the 500 block of Cranbrook Road, of an undisclosed sum of money about 8:25 p.m. Thursday. Before they fled, the gunmen robbed three employees of jewelry and a cell phone.


Burglary -- Lawn equipment, tools and a Honda XBR-80 dirt bike - all valued at $2,600 - were stolen between Thursday and Saturday from a shed in the 900 block of Academy Ave.

Robbery -- A man, 29, was walking in the 200 block of River Way Court in Owings Mills about 8:40 p.m. Saturday when two men, one armed with a knife, robbed him of a cell phone, a set of keys and his wallet containing $20 and credit cards.
