Man caught in Dundalk boy's bedroom

Richard Lewis Marks, 49, was charged with an attempted first-degree sex offense, five counts of assault, burglary and resisting arrest after he was caught hiding in a Dundalk boy's bedroom.

YWCA to shut shelter in city

New look planned for Fort McHenry

Architects unveiled plans for a new visitors center for Fort McHenry, the birthplace of the national anthem. The new center will comprise 17,200 square feet - three times the size of the current visitors facility. Construction is to begin in 2009, with completion expected in 2010.

Baltimore County begins rezoning

As it does every four years, Baltimore County has begun the process of comprehensive rezoning, during which citizens can ask elected officials to change the rules governing what may be built on a particular piece of property. The process is expected to last about a year.
