Arrest -- Rodney Barnwell, 18, of the 4000 block of Walrad St., who was being held at Central Booking and Intake Center on an unrelated charge, was served with a detainer yesterday charging him with attempted murder. Barnwell is accused of shooting a man, 24, in the 4600 block of Pennington Ave. on Aug. 18.

Robbery -- A man, 35, was walking in the 900 block of Brooks Lane about 1 p.m. Monday when a man armed with a shotgun robbed him of $320.
Southeastern
Theft -- A computer system, a 15-inch-screen monitor, a keyboard and a power converter - all valued at nearly $12,000 - were stolen Tuesday or Wednesday from a 2003 Hummer in the 500 block of S. Patterson Park Ave.
Baltimore County
White Marsh
Burglary -- Police were seeking whoever broke into seven homes under construction in the first block of Ironwood Court between Aug. 31 and Tuesday and stole copper piping and wooden railings - all valued at nearly $500.
Woodlawn
Robbery -- Two men, one armed with a handgun, forced their way into a house in the 2800 block of Cunningham Drive about 8 a.m. Wednesday and robbed the male occupant of $90 and a checkbook.
