Dr. Phuong X. Nguyen has joined the surgical department at Mercy Medical Center, where he will focus on general surgery. Nguyen graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder and earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

Bonnie Eareckson has been appointed the chief of human resource management service for the Veterans Affairs Maryland Health Care System. Eareckson earned her undergraduate degree in 1983 from Southern Career Institute.

Dr. Deepak Kashyap has joined the Endocrine and Diabetes Center at Franklin Square Hospital Center. Kashyap completed his medical training and a fellowship in endocrinology at the George Washington University School of Medicine. He also is a certified diabetes educator.

Also at Franklin Square, Dr. Marcos Wolff, chief of infectious diseases, has been elected as a fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America in addition to becoming a fellow of the American College of Physicians earlier this year. He also recently earned certification from the International Society of Travel Medicine.

Dr. Robert G. Davidson has joined the practice of Dr. Joel D. Meshulam at Mercy Medical Center. Davidson is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where he also completed his internal medicine residency.

ProScan Imaging has hired Dr. Hyun Song as a new attending physician at its Columbia imaging center.
