GENEVIEVE PRICE MELLOR, 85, of Salisbury, formerly of Rosedale, died Sunday, September 2, 2007 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. Born in Chance, MD. on February 16, 1922, she was a daughter of the late William Dennis Jones and Margaret Lydia Mandayohl Jones. Her husband, Robert Henry Price died February 14, 1959. She was a homemaker who also volunteered at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Mrs. Mellor was a former choir director at Chesaco Avenue Methodist Church in Baltimore and a member of the Eastpoint Bowling League and the Women of the Moose. She is survived by three children, Robert H. Price III and his wife Barbara of Suffolk, VA, Lillian P. Wheatley and her husband Bill of Salisbury and Richard Lee Price and his wife Patricia of Ft. Meyers, Fla.; eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Beatrice Price of Biglersville, PA and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were a son, Stephen George Price, a grandson, Billy Wheatley, brothers and sisters, Alice Shores, Milton Jones, Inez Dyer, Howard Paul Jones, Betty Ann Hroseman and Ruth Lynch. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11am at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, Md. where friends may call Wednesday evening from 7 to 9pm. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11am at Parkwood Cemetery in Baltimore. Revs. Phillip Wallen and Rabbi Irving Horseman will be officiating.
