Wine festival to be held next weekend

The Harford County Wine Festival will be held from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. Sept. 9 at Rockfield Manor, 501 Churchville Road in Bel Air.

The event will feature wines from around the world, food, Pottery at the Barn, a farmers' market with fresh produce, meats, cheeses and ice cream, artisans and craftspeople.

Music will be provided by Nothin' ta Plunder from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday. The group covers musical styles including rock, rockabilly, country, blues and Motown.

Harford County's Kustom Blend will perform from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. The piano-driven rock band draws on pop music, classic rock, jazz, classical music and blues.

The jazz of Defractions will be showcased from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 9.

Tickets are $25 per day at the gate. Designated and nondrinker tickets are $10, and children 12 and younger are admitted free. Proceeds benefit the Rockfield Foundation, which presents the event.

No pets, alcohol or coolers are allowed.
