An unidentified man who was shot late Wednesday died early yesterday, police said. The man was fatally wounded in the 3100 block of Artaban Place in Northwest Baltimore. Police have made no arrests and said they knew of no motive. LAST YEAR: Baltimore had recorded 179 homicides as of Aug. 30, 2006.
