Fair rodeo

Go see J Bar W Ranch's "Battle of the Beasts," where 25 professional bull riders participate in a rodeo. Riders must stay on the animals for eight seconds with one arm in the air. Women will compete in barrel racing, a timed horse run between three barrels. The 7 p.m. event takes place in the Horse Show Ring at the Maryland State Fair, 2200 York Road in Timonium.
