Early start for young athletes

With the summer nearly over and the school year looming, some local students got an early start this week as tryouts for fall sports started at Mt. Hebron High School and other Howard County schools. An early morning start and relatively cool temperatures didn't keep coaches from allowing frequent water breaks for foot ball players. Above, players take a rest and try to cool off.
