Home run rally boosts O's

The Baltimore Sun

Manny Ramirez never turned his head. As the Boston Red Sox left fielder, it's not his job to track a home run. He saw the pitch, he heard the crack of the bat, he walked to the visiting clubhouse. No need to check how many rows back the ball landed.

The Orioles scored 12 runs after the seventh inning in their three-game series against the Red Sox. The last three came from Kevin Millar, whose walk-off home run in the 10th yesterday completed a 6-3 victory before an announced 48,551 at Camden Yards.

Orioles@Yankees Tonight, 7:05, MASN, 105.7 FM Starters: Jeremy Guthrie (7-4, 3.22) vs. Chien-Ming Wang (13-6, 3.94)
