The 44th annual Havre de Grace Art Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Aug. 19 in Tydings Memorial Park in Havre de Grace.

The juried art show is presented by Soroptimist International of Havre de Grace and sponsored by several local businesses.

The show highlights more than 200 artists and craftsmen from throughout the country exhibiting and selling original work, including basketry, drawing, painting in oils, watercolors, pastels, decorative painting on objects, fibers, floral, glass, jewelry, leatherwork, metalwork, photography, pottery, ceramics, sculpture and woodworking, including hand-turned bowls, hand-carved Santas and decoys.

Some artists will demonstrate their work, such as potters.

The entertainment schedule is:

Saturday: 9 a.m., Blue Heaven Gospel Singers; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Paul Howshall; 11 a.m., Havre de Grace High Jazz Band; 12:30 p.m., Harford Community College Phoenix Festival Theater; 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., The Jesters, popular music; random times, Will Height, guitarist.

Children's entertainment: 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., Nothin' Up My Sleeve, balloon sculptures; 11 a.m., 3 p.m., Nothin' Up My Sleeve, magic show; noon and 1:30 p.m., Candy and Cupcake, puppet and singing show.

Aug. 19: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., David Hooper, Harford songwriter; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Ashleigh Marie, country and rock; 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., C.R.B. Band, pop, classic rock, oldies, blues; random times, Will Height, guitarist.

Children's entertainment: 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., Nothin' Up My Sleeve, balloon sculptures; 11:30 a.m., 3 p.m., Nothin' Up My Sleeve, magic show; 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., Candy and Cupcake, puppet and singing show.
