St. Andrew's United to hold yard sale

St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 4 Wallace Manor Road, Edgewater, will hold its weekly yard sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow.

Spaces are $15 for a 10-by-10-foot space and $5 for tables.

Reservations are suggested.

Concessions will be available throughout the day.

Celebrate America starts tomorrow

The Chesapeake Christian Center will present Celebrate America at 6 p.m. tomorrow and Sunday at 206 Weston Woods Drive, Pasadena.

The musical event will feature the CCC Celebration Singers and the bands Soul Dance, Men of Judah and Color Guard and Dr. Ken Shrum.

Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children younger than 12.

Peach fest features music, auction

The Lutheran Women's Missionary League will hold its annual Peach Festival from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 17 at Galilee Lutheran Church, 4652 Mountain Road in Pasadena.

This event will have peach- inspired desserts, pit beef sandwiches and platters, hot dogs, salads, silent auction and music by John Norfolk.

'Woodstock' concert is Aug. 18

Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, 611 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., Severna Park, will present "WoodStock" at 7 p.m. Aug. 18.

The concert will feature performances from Christ Our Anchor Presbyterian and Wayman Good Hope AME churches, Sidewalk Ecumenical Ministries, and the Woods Church praise team.

Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children and $25 for a family of four.

Commemorative T-shirts are $10.

Proceeds will benefit the Severna Park Assistance Network.

Annual crab cake, raffle is Aug. 18

The events committee of St. Athanasius Roman Catholic Church, 4708 Prudence St., Curtis Bay, will hold its annual crab cake dinner and raffle from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 18 at the church hall.

Exhibit includes landscapes, animals

Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, 611 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd., Severna Park, is showing Watercolors, an art exhibit by Jane Ferguson and Marlene Sweger, through Sept. 2 in the church gallery.

The exhibit will focus on landscapes, beachscapes, birds, animals and flowers.

Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and by appointment on weekends.

Harvest Festival, flea market is Sept. 15

Wesley Grove United Methodist Church, 1320 Dorsey Road, Hanover, will hold its 27th annual Harvest Festival and flea market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 15.
