Victim identified -- Police identified Eric Ford, 19, of no fixed address yesterday as the man fatally shot Sunday night during a robbery in the first block of S. Highland Ave. Ford was seen struggling with two men about 10:40 p.m. when he was shot in the chest and stomach. Ford fled to an alley behind the 3400 block of E. Baltimore St., where he was found by police. Ford died less than an hour later at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Metro Crime Stoppers at 410-276-8888 is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the slaying.
Assaults -- Several men were walking toward their cars parked in the 3900 block of Eastern Ave. about 2 a.m. Monday when they were attacked for no apparent reason by several other men armed with bottles. The victims suffered cuts and were treated at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
Shooting -- A man, 30, was walking in the rear of the 4100 block of Stokes Drive about 1:30 a.m. yesterday when a gunman shot him in the left arm. The victim ran to the 1300 block of Wildwood Parkway, where police found him sitting on the steps of a house. The man was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
Shooting -- Police were seeking the person who fired several shots outside a bar in the 800 block of W. Cross St. about 2 a.m. Sunday, one of which grazed the left eye of a man, 21, standing nearby. The victim was treated at University of Maryland Medical Center and released.
Shooting -- Darrell Smith, 22, whose address was not released, remained in critical condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center after he was shot in the back of the neck about 4 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of E. 21st St. Smith was unable to tell detectives who shot him or why.
Shooting -- A man was shot in a leg during an incident in a house in the 1300 block of Dartmouth Ave. about 7:40 p.m. yesterday and police arrested a suspect a short time later. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital.
Robbery -- Police were seeking a woman armed with a knife who entered a house in the first block of Seagate Court about 4 a.m. Sunday with a key and robbed the male occupant of $400.
Burglary -- Two circular saws, a 42-inch floor fan and gas cans containing fuel were stolen over the weekend from a storage container at a construction site in the 11200 block of Pepper Road.
Burglary -- Two Honda all-terrain vehicles were stolen early Monday from under the deck of a house in the 19500 block of Cameron Mill Road.
Burglary -- Someone entered a shed in the 1200 block of York Road on Monday and stole two leaf blowers, an air compressor, two ladders, a Weed Wacker, a power washing machine and two gas cans containing fuel. Total value of the property is $5,000.
Robbery -- Two 16-year-old boys were walking in the 6200 block of Johnnycake Road about 6 p.m. Monday when they were assaulted by two older males, one armed with a stick, who robbed one victim of his cell phone valued at $100.
