An 18-year-old man was fatally shot early yesterday in South Baltimore's Lakeland neighborhood. He was the 187th slaying victim of the year, city police said.

About 7:45 a.m., police said, a man was shot and killed in the 3700 block of Lyndale Ave., in Northeast Baltimore's Belair-Edison neighborhood. He was the 188th victim of the year.

A man was shot late last night in East Baltimore's Barclay neighborhood and died a short time later. His killing was the city's 189th this year.
