An article in Tuesday's editions of The Sun on surveillance law quoted a letter from House Intelligence Committee Chairman Silvestre Reyes, stating that an intelligence gap was preventing officials from collecting "a significant portion of what we should be getting." That statement should have been attributed to intelligence officials, whom Reyes was quoting in his letter.

An article in Tuesday's editions about a Maryland Court of Appeals decision on funding for charter schools misstated the number of judges affirming the ruling. It was a 5-2 decision.

The address for Pitango Gelato was incorrect in the Takeout column of yesterday's Taste section. The shop is at 802 S. Broadway in Fells Point.

A June 13 article in the Business section contained incorrect information about Educate Inc. The company has 400 employees in Baltimore, its consumer products are not sold through its tutoring centers, and many of its Sylvan centers already were franchises when the company split in 2003.

The Sun regrets the errors.
