SunTrust Bank Maryland elected Melvin A. Steinberg, former Maryland lieutenant governor, to the bank's regional advisory board.


College of Notre Dame of Maryland appointed Lisa V. Byrd as director of alumnae relations. She is responsible for leading and advancing alumnae activities.

Loyola College in Maryland named Scott Stuart director of alumni relations for the North Baltimore Jesuit college.

Health care

Bridge Pharmaceuticals Inc. selected D. Thomas Oakley as chief executive officer and named Patrik Jeanmonod to the position of chief financial officer. Also, Ronald J. Marler was named chief scientific officer for the Gaithersburg preclinical contract research organization.


Gallagher Evelius & Jones LLP said Ward B. Coe III joined the Baltimore law firm as a partner in the litigation and health care practice group.


RWD Technologies Inc. appointed Michael Bray as chief operating officer and Gary Walker to senior vice president of the Applied Technology Solutions Group for the Baltimore-based provider of organizational performance solutions.

Engineering Systems Solutions said Kelli Johnson joined the staff as business development manager. A Marine Corps veteran, she will identify, negotiate and manage business development processes for the Frederick-based company.

Real estate

Manekin LLC named Erin Straughan as a property manager for the Columbia-based commercial real estate and residential land development firm.
