The Baltimore County couple who enlisted the help of private investigators, a helicopter pilot and a psychic in their search this week for their missing Yorkshire terrier expanded the hunt yesterday.
Rhonda Fish and Brian Davis returned last night to the ravine in White Marsh where Reilly dashed away while out for a walk three days ago. This time, the couple went with a pair of women affiliated with Pet Hunters International who have search dogs trained to find missing pets.
The tracking dogs are offered a toy or blanket that belongs to the missing pet and encouraged to pick up and follow the animal's scent, according to the Web site of the Maryland group, Pure Gold Pet Trackers. The trackers recently found a dog in Virginia 17 days after the pet went missing, Davis said.
Fish and Davis, her fiance, said they have fielded dozens of calls from people who think they have found or have seen the 2 3/4 -year-old pooch, who ran away from a White Marsh hotel where the couple had been staying while their Towson condo is repaired. They checked out two terriers who looked like Reilly -- but were not him.
The couple is offering $2,000 for information leading to Reilly's return and $2,500 for the return of their dog.
"We're getting a lot of cooperation from the community and the police and from everyone involved," Fish said. "We got to forget The Hunt for Red October. This is the Hunt for Reilly Fish."
