Baltimore

Central

Arrest -- Steven Lashley, 29, of the 4500 block of Craddock Ave. in Ednor Gardens was arrested about 8 a.m. yesterday by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a charge of first-degree murder. Lashley was under surveillance when he was observed driving in the 3900 block of N. Charles St. and was taken into custody. Lashley is accused of stabbing Stanley Thomas Jr. of the 3000 block of Mardel Ave. on Sept, 22, 2005, during an argument in the 400 block of Water St. Thomas died a short time later at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Robbery -- Police were seeking five men, one armed with a handgun, who robbed the Fah Dah convenience store in the 100 block of W. Saratoga St. of $200 in lottery receipts about 2 p.m. Tuesday. During the robbery, the men bound an employee's hands with a bandana.

Burglary -- Someone broke into Bolton Hill Food Center in the 1100 block of Park Ave. on Monday and stole cigarettes valued at nearly $200.

Stolen vehicle -- A four-door, white 1995 Honda Accord with tags LZJ 149 was stolen Monday in the 300 block of E. Preston St.

Burglary -- A videocassette recorder, a compact disc player and several CDs were stolen Monday from a house in the 1700 block of Eutaw Place by someone who entered through a second-floor window.

Southeastern

Theft -- Police were seeking the driver of a truck who pumped $250 worth of diesel fuel at a Royal Farms in the 1200 block of S. Ponca St. and drove off without paying.

Theft -- A global positioning system and a laptop computer - all valued at nearly $3,000 - were stolen Tuesday from a 2005 Honda Accord parked in the 3000 block of O'Donnell St.

Theft -- A cell phone and personal property were stolen Tuesday from a 1997 Ford Taurus parked in the 3200 block of Fait Ave.

Southern

Arrest -- Verna Brock, 35, of the 600 block of Arsan Ave. in Brooklyn was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the 3600 block of 6th St. on a warrant charging her with setting a fire in her home on June 14.

Stolen vehicle -- A black 2000 Dodge Dakota with tags 09V 300 was stolen Monday in the 4500 block of Pennington Ave.

Baltimore County

Towson

Robbery/arrest -- A woman, 24, was sitting on a bench at a bus stop at East Joppa and Dulaney Valley roads about 11 p.m. Monday when she was assaulted by a man who stole her cell phone before fleeing on foot. A short time later on York Road near Towson University, a man fitting the robber's description was observed by an officer and was arrested. Charged with robbery and held at the county's Detention Center in Towson was Patrick Eli, 18, of the 1300 block of Stonewood Road in Northwood. The victim's cell phone was recovered.

Franklin

Theft -- At least three vehicles parked in the 1900 block of Shawan Valley Lane were broken into early Tuesday. From one vehicle, a purse containing cash was stolen .
