Farm Fair

The lowdown -- Starting today, all kinds of country animals will come to the Bel Air Equestrian Center for the annual Harford County Farm Fair. It features pig races, dairy and rabbit shows, tractor pulls and other farm-related events.

If you go -- The fair is 10 a.m.-10 p.m. today through Saturday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $3-$7, free for kids younger than 5. The center is at 608 N. Tollgate Road in Bel Air. For more information, go to farmfair.org.

Crab Days

The lowdown -- Enjoy a weekend dedicated to the blue crab, at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum's 25th annual Crab Days Festival this Saturday and Sunday. Take a boat ride, see crabbing demonstrations, listen to music and eat steamed crabs, crab cakes or crab soup. Also, enjoy an All-U-Can-Eat buffet at 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

If you go -- The festival is noon-8 p.m. Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, 213 N. Talbot St. in St. Michaels. Admission is $5-$13. Prices for the buffet will be market-determined. Call 410-745-2916 or go to cbmm.org

Play ball

The lowdown -- Get ready for some crazy dunks and intense one-on-one face-offs from some of the best streetball players in the world when the Ball4Real Streetball Tour comes to the Verizon Center on Sunday. Shop Boyz, known for the song "Party Like a Rockstar," will perform at halftime.

If you go -- The tour is at Verizon Center, 601 F St. N.W. in Washington, at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $11-$78. Call 410-547-SEAT or go to ball4real.com.
