TWILIGHT TATTOO

Watch a twilight tattoo ceremony with military pomp and patriotic music Sunday at Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine. Visitors can see the U.S. Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, Silent Drill Team and Color Guard perform, as well as the uniformed Fort McHenry Guard demonstrate battle tactics from the War of 1812.

A FAIR TO REMEMBER

Love an old-fashioned country fair? Head to the Carroll County 4-H and FFA Fair in Westminster from Saturday through Aug. 3. Sure, there will be live music, plenty of fair foods, kids' activities, livestock shows and an array of farming exhibits. But you'll also be able to catch a demolition derby, tractor pull, racing pigs and geese and even a chick parade.

ROCKVILLE FAMILY FEUD

Sorry, Richard Dawson won't be there. But it'll still be entertaining. Sunday, the public is invited to watch Rockville Family Feud in the Town Center Plaza. The "survey says" that eight teams of six family members (with a Rockville resident as team captain) will answer questions about Rockville and compete for prizes. Spectators can cheer on the players and receive free giveaways.
