Christopher Scott Frank, a utilities lineman, died Thursday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center after the motorcycle he was driving was struck on Liberty Road in Reisterstown. The Union Bridge resident was 40.

Born in Baltimore and raised in Millersville, he attended Old Mill High School and later received a General Educational Development diploma.

At his death, he was a lineman for W.A. Chester in Rockville, a firm that does subcontracting work for BGE.

A motorcycle enthusiast, Mr. Frank owned a Polaris Victory. "He rode it every chance he got," said his brother Steve Carl Frank of Severn.

In his free time, he taught his 10-year-old son, Dillon Frank of New Windsor, how to work on automobiles. They also enjoyed fishing and doing home-improvement projects.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Meadow Branch Church of Brethren Cemetery, 818 Taneytown Road in Westminster.

In addition to his son, survivors include his wife of four years, Dianna Galloso; his parents, Warren and Carol Frank of Millersville; another brother, Gary Frank of Gambrills; and a sister, Julia Marie Frank of Pasadena. His marriage to Carol Buston ended in divorce.
