Offense -- He obviously has plus power, but he really recognizes pitches well. When he gets in a streak, in a zone, he's just tough to get out. Sometimes you see him and you just think, 'Wow.'
Defense -- He works hard and has become average, certainly above adequate. And I think he'll be average for a while.
Development -- You had reports [coming out of college] that the guy would not play a position in the majors. A lot of clubs thought he would be an extra player. That happens. You don't think a guy has a position, then he hits .300 and 35 homers and becomes the best second baseman in baseball.
