Northwestern
Shooting -- A man in his 30s was shot in the upper torso about 10:20 p.m. Thursday in the 2800 block of Quantico Ave. and was taken to Sinai Hospital. His condition and details of the shooting were not available. There was no arrest, and police knew of no motive for the shooting.
Northeastern
Shooting -- Shortly before 2 p.m. Thursday, a male, 18, was in a house in the 1600 block of Ramblewood Road when he was shot in the back by an unknown person. The victim underwent surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital and was reported in good condition. No arrest had been made.
Southeastern
Shooting -- Police were seeking the person who shot a teenage boy in the upper left leg in the first block of S. Caroline St. about 2 a.m. Wednesday. Police said the victim was found outside a 7-Eleven store in the 100 block of S. Broadway and was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital for treatment. While being treated, the victim attempted to leave the hospital but was restrained. There was no arrest in the shooting.
Stolen vehicle -- A black Honda Accord with Minnesota tags TNM 017 was stolen Wednesday afternoon in the first block of S. Collington Ave.
Theft -- Someone broke into a 2007 Chevrolet sport utility vehicle with Montana registration and parked in the 900 block of Trinity St. between 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Thursday and stole a 35 mm camera and a cell phone. The property was valued at $300.

Towson
Burglary/animal cruelty -- Police were seeking the person who broke into a house in the 8500 block of Chestnut Oak Road between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Thursday after removing an air-conditioner from a window and damaged two lamps and poisoned the occupant's dog. The dog was being treated by a veterinarian. It was not known if the dog survived. Anyone knowing the intruder is urged to call the precinct at 410-887-2361.
White Marsh
Burglary -- While the occupants of a house in the 6500 block of Langdale Road were asleep between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. Thursday, someone entered through a rear bedroom window and stole a computer.
Burglary -- Cash, jewelry and a video camera were stolen Thursday from a house in the 4500 block of Kenwood Ave. by someone who entered through an unlocked rear window.
Essex
Vandalism -- Police were seeking whoever used a knife to slash the tires of at least 26 vehicles parked on several streets in the Aero Acres community of Middle River between 10 p.m. Monday and 4:30 a.m. Tuesday. Police said some vehicles had more than one tire destroyed and that a total of 44 tires were damaged, causing nearly $5,000 in damage. The window of one car was also broken. Anyone with information is asked to call the precinct at 410-887-0220.

Burglary -- A PlayStation of unknown value was stolen from a house in the 2100 block of Blue Mount Road between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Thursday by someone who entered through a front window. Police said there was evidence that the occupant's dog apparently surprised the intruder who escaped by entering a second-floor bedroom and jumped out a window.
