Patrick F. Mutch has been chosen as executive director of Mission Health Partners, the health care collaborative formed by St. Agnes HealthCare and St. Joseph Medical Center this year. Mutch will be responsible for strategy and day-to-day management of the alliance. He has more than 30 years of health care management experience, including serving as the chief executive of hospitals in Boston, Prince George's County and Baltimore.

The Community College of Baltimore County has named Candice S. Grayson to lead its new Medical Laboratory Technology program in the School of Health Professions. Grayson has worked as a medical technologist for more than 10 years. In addition, she has served as the educational coordinator at Greater Baltimore Medical Center and has taught courses at Villa Julie College.

Michele R. Cooley, Ph.D., an associate professor in mental health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, has been appointed to the Child Psychopathology and Developmental Disabilities Study Section, Center for Scientific Review. The study section organizes peer reviews and makes recommendations on grant applications submitted to the National Institutes of Health.
