On July 11, 2007 Ruth Thomas-Hyman, age 57, beloved wife of Sheldon Hyman passed away peacefully in their Randallstown home. Beloved daughter of Leo and Mary Thomas of Spring Hill, Fl. and a sister Kendra Page and her husband David of Glendale CA. Also beloved mother to Sheldons' children Jeff Hyman and wife Kristen of Owings Mills and daughter Cheryl Redmond and husband Bill of Woodstock, GA., and grandchildren McKenna and Jacob Redmond. Ruth was a graduate of Catholic High and Loyola College. She taught in The Baltimore County school system and was affiliated with The Sisters of Mercy. An avid wild life and nature lover, she supported many organizations involved in their preservation. She was also a strong Advocate of Ovarian cancer research and awareness. A Celebration of Ruth's life will be held at Tagart Chapel at McDonogh School on Sunday, August 12th 2007 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her name to your favorite charity.
