While crabbing in Graveyard Creek, a Severn River tributary, Ed Pinkey caught more than crustaceans. Seventy-five years ago today, Pinkey pulled a 20-pound prize: a silver loving cup.

The Champion City Bowling League trophy had been awarded to the Elks seven years earlier, The Sun reported on July 20, 1932.
