3 men arrested and charged in 3 unrelated homicides

Three men charged in warrants with three separate and unrelated homicides in Baltimore were arrested within 24 hours by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force, police said. One arrest took place in Baltimore County.

The most recent arrest was of Leroy Adams, 18, of the 4100 block of Kinsway in Northeast Baltimore, police said.

Adams is charged with the first-degree murder of Demetrius Burnette, who was shot to death about midnight June 7 while walking toward his home in the 3600 block of Bonview Ave., police said.

Adams was arrested about 2 p.m. yesterday at Baltimore Circuit Court in the 100 block of N. Calvert St., where he was to attend a drug trial.

About 7 p.m. Wednesday, James Giles, 21, was arrested at his home in the first block of Paige View Court in Randallstown in the county, on a warrant charging him with the fatal shooting May 17, of Robert Perlie, 16, in the 200 block of N. Dallas Court, police said.

Early Wednesday, Adrian McFadden, 30, of the 700 block of N. Payson St. was arrested at his girlfriend's house in the 900 block of W. Lexington St.

McFadden is charged with shooting Jourman Parsons, 17, on May 28, as the youth cowered in the corner of a liquor store in the 1800 block of Mosher St. during a chase, police said. Parsons was shot in the head and died the next day at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

All three suspects were being held without bail at Central Booking and Intake Center.
