Police seeking suspect in Ednor Gardens killing
Baltimore police are seeking Kevin Armstead, 24, of the 700 block of E. 43rd St., in the fatal shooting of Ricardo Paige, 54, whose body was found in a vacant house near the victim's home in the 500 block of E. 43rd St. on March 20, authorities said. Police said they knew of no motive for the killing.
Armstead, a member of the Black Gorilla Family gang, frequents the area of York Road and 43rd Street in the Ednor Gardens neighborhood and is considered armed and extremely dangerous, said Detective Vincent Stevenson of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force.
Armstead is charged in a warrant with first-degree murder and using a handgun in the commission of a felony, Stevenson said.
Metro Crime Stoppers (410-276-8888) is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to Armstead's arrest and indictment.
