St. Andrew's United to hold yard sale

St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 4 Wallace Manor Road, Edgewater, will hold its weekly yard sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow.

Spaces are $15 for a 10-by-10 foot space, and $5 for tables.

Reservations are suggested.

Concessions will be available.

Grace Baptist picnic is set for tomorrow

Grace Baptist Church of Sunset Beach will hold its annual Sunday school picnic at 2 p.m. tomorrow at 8420 Alvin Road, Pasadena. Participants are encouraged to bring a covered dish, swimsuits and towel.

There will also be a deacon ordination service for Joshua Tate Wemer at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the church, 17 Somerset Road, Pasadena. All ordained ministers and deacons are welcome.

A six-week marriage Bible study will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Participants do not have to be married to attend.

Glen Lutheran sets Bible school

Glen Lutheran Church, 106 Carroll Road, Glen Burnie, will hold a vacation Bible school from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. July 23 through 27.

This event, with the theme "Quest for Truth," is for children from pre-kindergarten through sixth grade.

Unity by the Bay to hold workshop

Unity by the Bay will have a spiritual workshop from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. July 20, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. July 21 and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. July 22 at 836 Ritchie Highway, Suite 18, Severna Park.

Bible school classes begin July 23

Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 7606 Quarterfield Road, Glen Burnie, will hold vacation Bible school from 9 a.m. to noon July 23 through 27.

The theme will be "Disciples of the Caribbean" and is tailored for children older than 4 through fifth grade.

Registration is required.

The cost is $5 until Sunday and then $10.

St. Phillip's crab feast is July 28

St. Phillip's Episcopal Church will hold its annual all-you-can-eat crab feast from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. July 28 at 730 Bestgate Road, Annapolis.

The cost is $50 for adults and $20 for children. Advance sales will be discounted.

Woods Memorial stages art show

Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church is showing "Shades of Summer," an exhibit by 26 local artists, through July 22 in its gallery at 611 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd., Severna Park.

The exhibit will feature a mix of watercolor, oil and acrylic paintings and photographs.

Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment on weekends.
