Baltimore

Central

Theft -- An electric cigarette lighter valued at $200 was stolen from a 2005 Toyota while it was parked in the 100 block of W. Lafayette Ave. Monday or Tuesday.

Southeastern

Burglary -- Someone broke into a house in the 700 block of S. Montford Ave. through a first-floor bathroom window between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday and stole a laptop computer and an iPod. The value of the property was not known.

Stolen vehicle -- An orange 2005 Mazda with tags MKK 099 was stolen Tuesday in the 2200 block of Bank St.

Theft -- A global positioning system valued at $400 was stolen Tuesday from a 2007 Mercedes Benz parked in the 800 block of Eastern Ave.

Theft -- A blue 2006 Yamaha motorized scooter valued at $1,300 was stolen Sunday or Monday from the rear yard of a house in the 600 block of S. Macon St.

Southern

Stolen vehicle -- While a man, 38, from the Mount Vernon area of Baltimore, was purchasing cigarettes in a service station in the 400 block of Russell St. about 11 p.m. Monday, another man entered his 2000 Mazda Protege with tags KYE 202 and drove off. Police said the victim was given a citation charging him with leaving a motor vehicle unattended while its engine was running.

Theft -- A 2001 Mercury Cougar was parked in the 1100 block of W. Hamburg St. on Monday night when someone entered the vehicle through an unlocked door and stole $48.

Vandalism -- Someone used an unknown object to shatter a rear window of a 2005 Buick Century parked Monday in the 2900 block of Southland Ave.

Baltimore County

White Marsh

Burglary -- Copper wire valued at $1,500 and the property of Miles Electric Co. was stolen early Tuesday from a construction site in the 9000 Bella Brook Road.

Burglary -- A metal box containing financial documents was stolen Monday or Tuesday from Citi Financial in the 11000 block of Philadelphia Road by someone who entered through a rear door.

Essex

Burglary -- On July 5 or July 6, someone stole six stainless steel cooking grills and 20 empty beer kegs from a dwelling in the 6300 block of Ebenezer Road. A few days later, the property was recovered from a county recycling firm. A 26-year-old man was being sought in the burglary.

Cockeysville

Burglary -- A Martin guitar was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 2500 block of Wilson Road in White Hall by someone who entered through a door.

Burglary -- Police were seeking a man who broke into Pretty Boy Market in the 2200 block of Middletown Road through a side window Tuesday and stole 10 packs of cigarettes. Police said the break-in was captured on a surveillance camera.

Woodlawn

Robbery -- A man, 44, was walking along Security Boulevard near Whitehead Road about 10 p.m. Tuesday when a man armed with a knife and his female accomplice robbed him of his wallet containing $260.

Robbery -- Two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed a man, 23, of a cell phone, his wallet and several keys while the victim walked along St. Mary's Street near Ingleside Avenue about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.
