CHESAPEAKE HISTORY

Commemorate John Smith's voyage on the Chesapeake in 1608. Visitors to the Annapolis City Dock this weekend can see the replica shallop John Smith, meet the crew and explore the interactive exhibit tent. On Saturday, Gov. Martin O'Malley and Rep. John Sarbanes will be the guests of honor.

BACON DOUBLE FEATURE

The Bacon Brothers, a country-folk duo featuring actor Kevin Bacon (below) and his brother, Michael, perform a free concert at the Inner Harbor on Sunday as a part of the Netflix Live on Location series. After the concert, there will be a free screening of the movie Diner, set in Baltimore and starring Kevin Bacon. Actress and entertainment correspondent Maria Menounos hosts.

Kids, do you have what it takes to be the next Orioles broadcaster? Try your hand at announcing, and you may win a chance to work in the broadcast booth at an Orioles game. Auditions for the Junior Broadcaster Competition take place at ESPN Zone on Monday and Tuesday. Only the first 100 eligible candidates will be admitted to audition, and two junior broadcasters will be selected each day by a panel of judges and fans. Entrants are also eligible to win other prizes.

'ART IN THE PARK'
