Both shooting victims were taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Bullets struck Michael Burke, 23, in the torso, and he was listed in serious but stable condition yesterday, according to Agent Donny Moses, a police spokesman. The other shooting victim, Ron Hutchins, 27, was treated for a gunshot injury to his right arm. He was released yesterday morning. The woman, whose name was not released, was treated at University of Maryland Medical Center.

Police obtain warrant in a hit-and-run case
Howard County police have obtained a warrant for a 24-year-old woman, charging that she fled the scene of an Elkridge traffic accident Sunday in which a man and woman on a motorcycle were critically injured.
Police were seeking Danielle Louise Gress, who they believe was the driver of a Hyundai that made a left turn out of the Tip-Top Motel parking lot in front of a northbound Harley-Davidson on U.S. 1.
After the accident, Ernest Thomas Powell and Bobbie Lee Powell, his wife, were taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Ernest Powell has been released. Bobby Lee Powell's condition has been upgraded to serious, according to a spokeswoman for Shock Trauma.
Police said they did not have a current address for Gress. But they said that court records show previous addresses in Baltimore and Dundalk. The woman is charged with failure to yield the right of way, negligent driving, auto theft and hit-and-run.
