Big Brother 8 starts Thursday, and, as usual, I'm excited that my guiltiest pleasure is about to kick off for another wacky season and also afraid of how much time I'll waste on it this summer.

Not only is the show on CBS three times a week, but the activities of the contestants locked in a house are broadcast 24 hours a day online. So there are live recaps to catch up on, video clips to watch, a feed to check in on whenever and more, on top of the three hours of broadcast time every week.

I can feel my brain turning to mush already.
