Enjoy the food, friends and fun that come with any summer barbecue, but kick it up a notch at the Safeway 15th annual 2007 National Capital Barbecue Battle Saturday and June 24 in Washington. The battle provides the usual fare of any regular weekend barbecue, along with cooking demonstrations, tips from celebrity chefs, music -- including Chuck Brown and Fools & Horses -- and talent shows, as well as barbecue from local and national restaurants.
