Curran hired by IWIF

Developer deals with Army

A Pittsburgh developer will build a hotel and conference center, offices and shops at Fort Detrick in Frederick County under an arrangement in which the U.S. Army donates 24 acres at the base in return for future development services. pg 8C

Inflation stays flat

Wall Street barreled higher again yesterday after the week's most anticipated economic reading indicated that inflation excluding the price of gasoline remained tepid last month, easing some concerns that have jolted stock and bond markets in recent sessions. pg 8C
