Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.
Theft -- A window of a 2005 Mazda was smashed and a Global Positioning System device and personal papers were stolen sometime between 3 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. yesterday in the 200 block of E. 33rd St.
Robbery -- Two men and two women jumped out of a car about 3:30 a.m. in the 2500 block of St. Paul St. and stole a purse from a woman on a bicycle.
Shooting -- A 14-year-old boy was shot in the left arm about 7:40 p.m. Saturday. The boy told police that he was in the 3000 block of Stranden Road when he heard gunshots and started running. He went to St. Agnes Hospital when he realized he had been shot.
Drug arrest -- About 12:15 a.m. Friday, district drug enforcement officers in a covert position in the 2300 block of Sidney Ave. saw a man exchange money for apparent drugs with two teenagers and a young man on a stoop. As the officers approached, the customer fled, and 19 gelatin capsules and $1,900 cash were dropped on the ground. The capsules later were determined to be heroin. The two teens, both 15, and Darryl Grady, 22, of the 2400 block of Ridgely Ave. were arrested and charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute.
Shooting -- A 19-year-old man who was not identified by police was found shot in the left wrist about 10 p.m. Friday in the first block of N. Conkling St. He was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. His condition was unknown.
Attempted robbery -- At 4:14 a.m. yesterday, four men tackled another men and tried to steal his laptop computer in the 1900 block of Woodlawn Drive.
