MARGARET WHYTE EWING of Catonsville, MD, retired educator, Baltimore City Public School System, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2007, at St. Agnes Hospital. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Milton Ewing. Margaret is survived by many nieces and nephews, friends, caregivers and persons she mentored. The Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2007, at 10 A.M., at the Episcopal Church of St. Mary the Virgin, 3121 Walbrook Avenue, Baltimore, MD. Arrangements are in the care of Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services, P.A. Interment at Arbutus Memorial Park Cemetery immediately following the mass. It is requested that in lieu of flowers, donations are to be made in her memory to The Church of St. Mary the Virgin where Margaret was a faithful and devoted member of the parish and chair of the Altar Guild. Checks in her memory should be made to the Church of St. Mary the Virgin (memo) "Building Fund". In honor of her life and ministry at St. Mary's, the Rector of the parish has renamed the Altar Guild to be known as The Margaret Ewing Memorial Altar Guild.
