The University of Virginia-bound senior was the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference's best midfielder, scoring 36 goals, assisting on 21 others, getting 95 ground balls and winning 65 percent of his faceoffs. Elsmo led the Admirals to a No. 9 ranking during a season that included a win over two-time 4A-3A state champion Severna Park in which he had three goals and an assist. For his career, Elsmo, 6 feet and 200 pounds, got 115 goals, 81 assists, 290 ground balls and won 58 percent of his faceoffs.

Old Mill

Spence led the Patriots to perhaps its best season ever, as Old Mill emerged as the county's third-best team in the regular season behind five-time league champion Severna Park and South River. Led by attackmen Zach Cummings and Joe Maxwell, midfielder Morgan Midgett and defender Christian Carpenter, the senior-laden Patriots finished the season with a 10-5 record that included victories over traditional league powers Annapolis and South River as well as upstart Northeast.
