Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Shooting -- Police responding to a report of a man shot in the 600 block of Cokesbury Ave. about 1:40 a.m. yesterday found a man, 35, sitting on the front steps of a house bleeding from a gunshot wound to the upper right leg. The man was reported in good condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital.


Shooting -- A man and two women were seated in a car stopped in the 6800 block of Fairlawn Ave. about 9 p.m. Monday when a gunman reached in and struck the man, who was driving, with his hand and then fired shots into the vehicle, striking one woman in the right leg and the other in the left side. All three were treated at Sinai Hospital.


Shooting -- A man who was a passenger in a car that stopped in the 4100 block of Edmondson Ave. about 10 p.m. Monday got out of the vehicle to retrieve a cigarette when a gunman shot him in the chest. The victim was reported in serious condition at St. Agnes Hospital.

Shooting -- A man, 21, was in a house in the 2100 block of Eagle St. with several other people about 11 p.m. Monday when he became involved in an argument with two other men. One of the two men shot the victim in the left torso before the gunman and his friend fled. The victim was in critical but stable condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.


Shooting -- Police were seeking two men, one who had a handgun, in the shooting about 9 p.m. Monday of a man, 23, in the 1700 block of W. Lombard St. The victim was shot in the upper right leg and was in good condition at University of Maryland Medical Center.
