As the networks aim to razzle-dazzle audiences with new online elements from anchor blogs to podcasts, one of television's longest running and most staid programs is having a bang-up year.
CBS' 60 Minutes -- at 39, the oldest prime-time series on air -- this spring is ranked in the top 10 percent of all TV shows and draws a weekly audience of 13.5 million viewers. (That trounces its counterparts on ABC and NBC, where 20 / 20 and Dateline average well under 10 million viewers each.)
