Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.




Arrest -- Dishon Cohen, 17, was arrested Friday at his home in the 3000 block of Edmondson Ave. by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force on warrants charging him as an adult with two counts of attempted murder and handgun violations. Cohen is charged with shooting two men, Rahlyl Ford and Terry Wells, in the 2600 block of Loyola Northway on April 2. Cohen was being held without bail over the weekend at Central Booking and Intake Center.



Shooting -- A 34-year-old man was arguing with two other men in the 1800 block of McHenry St. about 5 a.m. Friday when one of the pair pulled out a handgun and shot him in the left side. The gunman and his companion rode off in a van. The victim was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center and was expected to survive.

Burglary -- Copper piping valued at $300 was stolen over the weekend from a house under construction in the 1300 block of Decatur St.

Stolen vehicle -- Police were seeking a black, four-door 2002 Infiniti with California tags 4YVY329 that was stolen Saturday in the 100 block of Scott St.


Robbery -- Officer Karen Johnson was in the 200 block of N. Greene St. about 3 p.m. Saturday when she observed a man standing in a nearby park who appeared to be acting suspiciously. When Johnson approached, she saw the man was bleeding from the chest and summoned an ambulance. He reported being robbed of a small sum of money moments earlier by a man who stabbed him in the chest. The victim was treated at Shock Trauma.

Burglary -- Someone entered a 7-Eleven in the 1100 block of N. Calvert St. early Saturday after breaking a window with a brick and stole a quantity of cigarettes.

Stolen vehicle -- A blue 2000 Mercedes-Benz with tags 12277BY was stolen Saturday in the first block of W. Eager St.


Theft -- Two backpacks containing clothing were stolen over the weekend from a 1996 Honda Accord parked in the 400 block of W. Franklin St.

Stolen vehicle -- A beige 2002 Honda Civic with tags 8BL F15 was stolen Saturday in the 100 block of E. Franklin St.

Baltimore County


Robbery -- A 79-year-old man was about to make a withdrawal from an automated teller machine inside the lobby of Bank of America in the 2400 block of York Road about 6:30 a.m. Saturday when a man with a semiautomatic handgun demanded his money. After telling the gunman he had none, the elderly man fell to the lobby floor pretending to have a heart attack. The gunman then assaulted him, and took a money clip containing an undisclosed sum. The victim was treated at St. Joseph Medical Center for minor injuries and released.



Burglary -- Someone entered a dormitory room at Goucher College on Wednesday and stole an iPod and a wallet containing cash and credit cards.


Burglary -- A golf cart was stolen between Friday and Saturday from a county Department of Recreation and Parks storage shed in the 400 block of Mitchell Drive.


Robbery -- A gunman robbed Speedy Mart in the 1600 block of N. Forest Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money about 5 p.m. Saturday and fled in a blue BMW driven by a second man.

Robbery -- A 70-year-old woman was standing outside her car in the 7100 block of Rudisill Court about 2:45 p.m. Saturday when a gunman robbed her of her keys and a cell phone.



Burglary -- A computer and gold jewelry - all valued at $1,400 - were stolen over the weekend from the bedroom of a house in the 500 block of Nassau Court.
