On April 24, 2007, LEMAN LEO STROUD, 78 of SC went to be with the Lord on April 24, 2007. He was born December 28, 1928. He was predeceased by his first wife, Annie Grainger Stroud; a step- son Randy Howell; three brothers and two sisters. Mr. Stroud was ordained at Calvary Pentecostal Campgrounds in Ashland, VA. He moved to SC 9 years ago from Baltimore MD. He attended Pentecostal Church of God in Conway. He loved playing softball, hunting and fishing. He was very involved in Missionary work in Russia and Haiti. He also ministered in England. He took many trips to the Holy Lands. Leman Leo is survived by his loving wife Verma H Stroud of SC, one son, Harold Wayne Stroud, Sr. of Baltimore, MD, two step-sons, Ricky Howell and his wife Beth, Mickey Howell and his wife Anna all of Conway SC; three daughters Elaine S Murphy and her husband Thomas, Cathy J Herman and her husband Joseph and Audrey A Thompson and her husband Johnny all of Baltimore, MD; one step-daughter Lynn Mincy and her husband Flint of Loris SC; 5 grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, one step-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews , and many friends in Conway, SC and Baltimore, MD. The family will receive friends one-half hour prior to a Graveside service at Oak Lawn Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Monday April 30. Palmetto Memorial Funeral Services, Conway SC is serving the family.
