German life in the first half of the 20th century is the focus of an exhibit at Howard Community College. Prints and Drawings by Kathe Kollwitz portrays her mostly working-class subjects as weathered and worn by poverty and war. The works come from the collection of Ted and Margaret Klitzke. (Pictured is "Storm.")
Prints and Drawings runs through May 24 in Howard Community College's Rouse Company Foundation Gallery. The gallery is at 10901 Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia. Hours are 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays-Fridays and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays. For more information, call 410-772-4189.
