Worshipers carry statues of Jesus and Mary during Santo Entierro, a procession commemorating the burial of Jesus. Parishioners from the Catholic Community of St. Michael and St. Patrick carried the lead statues of Jesus and weeping Mary. The faithful took turns carrying the pair during the Good Friday procession, which wound through the streets between the churches in Southeast Baltimore. The statue of Jesus dates to the 19th century.
